NIGHT VIEW

The scheme I chose was Sustainability, so I design a roof which is made of transparent solar panels. The sunlight can be absorbed during day time and the white tubes can light up the stop at night using the solar energy that stored at day time. The solar panels take place of the traditional glasses, which make the stop lighter and materials can be saved. The guardrails materials were reduced as well by using glass for fill in instead of a whole solid wall. The step of the stair was hollowed inside but with strengthened glass surface, materials were reduced in this way.

DARK TEXTURE

The dark fluid texture applied on the floor was inspired by the water flow and wind, which relates to the concept "Incorporates nature, with open skies, bringing a union between fixed and fluidity." The heavy lines indicate the main circulation.

MEDIUM TEXTURE

The medium texture was applied to indicate the circulation of the pedestrian over-crossing and it relates to the concept "Seamless communication between public and private spaces through use of glass and fluid shapes.

LIGHT TEXTURE

The light texture was applied on the second floor where there are less people going. It relates to the two concepts that has been mentioned above. The second floor is designed for people to grab food and drink so the circulation will be small.

NOTE:
The vending machine, cafe and the light rail in the model were downloaded from 3D Warehouse, but the whole stop was created by my own. I tried to reference them after I done my model, but I failed to look them up in the 3D Warehouse once again. I can not do my reference without finding the information so I make a note here.
